  • Referee - officiates a sporting competition from a neutral point of view to ensure a fair competition that follows all the rules of that specific sport. 

 

  • Sports Commentator - gives a running commentary of a sporting event in real time.

 

  • Sports Analyst - contributes to expert discussion of a sporting competition or professional athlete either before, during, or after the event. 

 

  • Sports Agent - represents an athlete by handling all of their negotiations and deals.

 

  • Sports Scout - travels with the purpose of finding athletes with the skill set that the scout's organization is looking for. 

 

  • Event Coordinator - plans and oversees sporting events (games, meets, and competitions) and makes sure they run smoothly in terms of seating, security, and other areas.

 

  • Photojournalist - photographs sports competitions.

 

  • Sports Broadcaster - covers sporting event through various media outlets such as radio, television, or the internet.
